Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our team at Tulips Technologies P. Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and availability of all systems. We are looking for an individual with a deep understanding of systems administration principles and a proven track record of success in managing complex IT environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain all IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, network devices, and cloud services.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems by implementing and enforcing security policies and procedures.
  • Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and take proactive steps to prevent downtime.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and other infrastructure changes.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and resolve IT issues promptly and effectively.
  • Document and maintain all IT processes and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator in a complex IT environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and cloud computing platforms.
  • Proficient in network administration, including routing, switching, and firewall management.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Strong understanding of security concepts and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Certifications in Microsoft or Linux system administration.
  • Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
  • Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell or Ansible.
